Over 10 years ago I had started my carrier working as an L1 and L3 Engineer in the Telecom Industry before delving into Network/Cybersecurity Operations a part of my current role.
I hold a number of industry certifications and training including a current valid Cisco Certification in Routing and Switching and well versed in Enterprise Networks. I am a Cisco & Udacity Scholar;

Cisco Global Cybersecurity Scholarship – Awarded 2017: Selected among 10,000 individuals globally in 2017 and trained by Cisco in Cyber Security to earn the prestigious CyberOps certification. This certification is a US Department of Defense(DoD) approved 8570 baseline Certification.

Africa App Launchpad Initiative Scholarship- Awarded 2019: Selected as a Nigerian amongst 17 countries in Africa to be trained in AI programming with Python Nanodegree by Udacity and ITIDA (an affiliate of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology).
I am highly skilled in Linux(Kali being my favorite) I work very well with flavors such as Debian, Centos and have deployed services such as Apache, Directadmin, SSL, SQL, DNS using bind9 as well as other services on server instances.
I work well with Python. I am a Cisco Devnet member embracing Network Programmability concepts leveraging python with RESTCONFs NETCONF, and other APIs. I am a Cisco Meraki CMNA ECMS1 trained Engineer(successful X2 In 2019). I design Network topology Labs in GNS3 and EVE-NG to simulate Production environments virtually as PoC before deployment to production networks for Enterprise Network Designs and Architecture. This can easily be reviewed with Senior Management at highly technical meetings.
I work as a Freelance Network & Security Engineer and currently preparing for my OSCP in May and PCNSE in February 2020.

I work part-time as a Teaching Assistant with Cybrary a US-based company training over 2.5 million professionals and students in Cybersecurity and Network Engineering related courses.

My motivation for this blog is to share my experiences, knowledge, and passion with this great community of Network and Security Enthusiasts.
